In the vicinity of this onsen is the famous Kimii-dera(Temple), the second temple where amulets can be obtained on the Kansai Pilgrimage. It is also famous as a place to view cherry blossoms. Accommodation is available here, and onsen bathing fees are waived for those who spend over ¥3,000 on food.
