A theme park with an air of a Mediterranean port town. The buildings which are divided into 3, are designed with motifs of an historic Spanish castle, an Italian fishing village and a traditional French town. There are also attractions, an amusement park and restaurants as well as many events.

In the southernmost part of Wakayama City lies the artificial island of Marina City. This is a real tourist hotspot, home to the yacht harbour and a huge resort hotel. I got a real kick out of the small theme park Porto Europa, which has been designed to look like the streets of port towns in Mediterranean Europe.
