This is a garden built by Harutomi Tokugawa, the lord of Kishu Domain. Blooming hydrangea flowers are grown along a path, which is available from early June through early July.

The Yosuien Garden in Wakayama Prefecture is a 33,000 square meter garden for feudal lords built by Tokugawa Harutomi. There is a pond in the garden where seawater from the sea was taken in, so you can see eels and gobies. The garden is made up of more than 1,000 pine trees a true axample of a Japanese style like, and the reflection on the surface of the water is very beautiful.
